Many tourists to Paris go to the Palace at Versailles. But Versailles during the tourist season is usually highly overrun with people. An equally glorious trip back in time is to take the bullet train 90 minutes out of Paris to Chateau Fontainebleau. It makes a nice day trip, the palaces are similar even if Fontainebleau is somewhat smaller, but the biggest advantage is that there are the much smaller crowds, allowing for a much more pleasant experience. This photo is from the small lake (large pond, really) behind the Chateau. Fontainebleau, France; July, 2016.

You've captured the 'Pavillon de l'tang' a small octagonal house on an island in the center of the large pond next to the palace, Ted.
It was added during the reign of Louis XIV, then rebuilt under Napoleon I.
Very fine one again!

This is so appealing to me Ted. I really like your processing on this one. My choice would be to go where the crowds are not! :)

If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn't need to lug around a camera. ~Lewis Hine The Earth without art is just 'eh'.
