Very nice one Rob. I see lightbulbs and eyes. Do you have a bank of this tribal design to pull from or do you have to do an entire half of the screen from scratch for each one of these symmetry images? When I drew (Tribalize) from scratch it took me darn near all day. You've either got an absurd talent or way too much time on your hands or perhaps both :) Well done!
I am very impressed with your work, overall, and these images make very excellent backgrounds. I would suggest perhaps a version of this with the caedes spider "built in" to the background of the image instead of floating above it. I think it would look very interesting.
This is very beautiful, I'm also curious as to how you went about creating the designs in the background. The shadow under the spider and the brightening toward the center of the image help to give it depth. It is still a little too flat though, and I believe bringing in some more color and/or more contrast would make a world of difference.
A side-view of face, lightbulb, tucan (sp?) type bird, an eye (bird's feather), the word "ME" at least twice on the half page, a tetra type fish right next to the word "ME", and an arrow leading to the word "ME". Probably lots more, huh? lol
Like the Tiger and the Turtle, I am very fond of this piece. Since coming across this site I have spent alot of time pondering the work on show. I think that you have stamped your authority on " BRONZE"! The background is imaculate! Alas, would cost to much as a tattoo. Ciao.
Kool trivals it most taken u some time to draw them, unlees u have some kind of premade trival images at hand? i also like the depth u given it. MAD PROPS
