I'll say it isn't...quite an unusual perspective that really gives you some idea of the amazing construction involved...fascinating and original image.:Pat.
The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air. Much that once was, is lost, for none now live who remember it. -Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring
This is truely fabulous. Someone should give you a medal for your wonderful eye for composition. The unusualness of the view makes this image invaluable. Well done on such fantastic thought and imagination.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust". Psalm 91: 1 and 2
This one whips the St. Louis Arch shot like Lance whips Jan. Both good shots, but the composition in this is just spectacular, extremely well matched to the subject.
This corner of the earth is like me in many ways. I can sit for hours here and watch the emerald feathers play. On the face of this I'm blessed when the sunlight comes for free. I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me.

Yikes! What a shot! Made my favorites...10/10. Makes me feel like I'm right there looking at it from this angle....I get dizzy if I look for too long.

I have to say, this is a really good angle to shoot this at, great lights from the tower and the colors are very nice! Great shot, this is going to my favorites!
Absolutely incredible, greg. Printed this out as a 16x20 for Paige - going to frame it and hopefully you'll sign it? Are you sure you want to be just a botanist?
I absolutely love this picture. I like pictures with very unusual angles. I had this as my desktop for close to 6 months. I think it's amazing. GREAT SHOT!
