A grainy night sky. Was originally a photograph of a bright daylight sky, but I edited it in Photoshop to make it night with an artistic texture. I then put in stars and a moon. I would be grateful for some constructive criticism!

I really would critisize if I could, but I looked at it full screen & it looks like a painting & I think it looks neat, so there !!!

Goodness I wish I could have the words that jzaw has....I think I better take some lessons soon..so I know what to write...he said it so perfectly. And by the way, I love this, it looks like a canvas painting. Love how you added the stars and moon..I would never have known it wasnt real....you know Im not sure, but I dont think the moon ever faces that direction. Someone tell me if Im right or wrong on that ok?

This is pretty d... good... This is just like something we'd see in our dreams... Very good work. And I find it hard to believe that this was origininally a photograph of day sky! I think this is something seen from a high-altitude plane... Very nice.

I like how you made this kind of look like a painting. or at least thats my perspective. either way i love the design and the idea. the night sky is always captivating.

I have to give you props for your editing here. I would never have guessed that this was a day shot. Really nice work.

Ok, my own personal editing chops are not up to jzaw's or yours for that matter, but, I agree with his one comment ... a slight adjustment on the moon, position as is, as I like it there ... and this would be complete.
To echo another of the one of above's comments ... "captivating." It does feel very dreamlike and very very appropriate to the subject. Really nice work.

I agree, this is a beautiful shot, I like it allot, the texture adds a dramatic sort of effect, excelent work and into my favorites. ;)

great idea and nice mod to make it look like night
i cant decide whether you need to bring the moon in a tiiiiiiiny bit further into the frame or not
but i would maybe continue the artistic filter into the moon too at the mo it looks slightly separate to the rest of the pic cos it doesnt share the blotchy grainy look
as long as youre not selling or distributing (yada yada, usual all rights reserved, you know the drill) these images feel free to use the cassiopeia stars from my FULL MOON IN CASSIOPEIA [RESHOT] shot in the montage here so you have some _real_ stars to play with
great use of the DIAMOND RING flare type of effect on the moon
and nice detail to take the time to illuminate the dark side of the moon with EARTHSHINE (yes it does exist!!! and thats exactly how it looks)
