No. Depends what you like, though. I'm sure it is too busy for some, but it is less busy than many other desktops I personally like.
I especially like the subtle, detailed patterning in this and the sense of curving depth. I'm a bit less keen on the colours, but I don't dislike them either.

I loved abstract as a teen, grew out of it...but liking it again. I like this, makes a very cool desktop. I don't think it's too busy.
