Fourteen Septembers have passed after terrorists destroyed the nations greatest office complex called the Twin Towers (World Trade Center), Sept 11, 2001. This is the "One World Trade Center", which stands proud and beautiful.

Thought this would be a tribute to the Anniversary of the terrible tragedy of 2001. Here is a collage I posted last year on this day: Gound Zero.

Captured this last Aug. 30, 2014 while standing at Ground Zero during one of our stop on the 8 hour bus tour through NYC, NY before we took our cruise down to Bermuda.

Used Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 to bring out more detail and colours in the glass, then with iPiccy.com to make it smaller to upload here.

Thank you for your time and comments.

Have a Wonderful Day & Don't forget the victims, families and their friends.

Great perspective Pat on the building - I still think many of us don't yet have perspective on that day a it seared so deeply.

Pat - 9/11 is a day too vividly remembered. This photo of the Freedom Tower is appreciated.

Pat, this is a very appropriate tribute to the tragedy of September 11th, 2001.
The terrorists didn't only have taken the lives of thousands of people, but did an attempt to destroy the freedom in the civilized parts of the world as well. They didn't succeed in the latter.
Let's never forget what a price has been paid by the not guilty victims.
