This is my contribution to the B/W Challenge. It's one of the beautiful roses I received from my husband on our 45th Anniversary (Sept 03, 2016).

Brought out more detail in Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 on my big iMac, then using iPiccy.com to make it smaller in size.

Comments are most welcomed and thank you if you choice to do so. Have a wonderful day.

Excellent details in the petal texture Pat and great use of negative space.

The detail of the veins in the petals are what struck me when I opened this image full screen. I think doing this in black and white has brought that detail out which, if in colour, may have been missed. Well done!

Pat, B&W enhances the elegance of this beautiful 'queen'. Perfect entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge, my friend.

The rose almost looks like porcelain - very beautiful and fine details and another lovely addition to the BWC - thank you Pat :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
