These are the stages of going to seed of a giant clematis named Nelly Mosier. I’ll have to dig in my files and find her in full bloom to post.

ahhh my father had these in his garden - very pretty, not only in flower but when they go to seed - the seed heads are like little birds - all feathery! lovely capture Joe!

Not being familiar with this plant I will have to say that they certainly are pretty in these particular stages. Nicely captured with great clarity and very gentle colors :)

I have a Nellie and it is a beautiful flower in all respects. I love their climbing nature and these pods are very large it appears and very pretty.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
