What a soft and charming blossom. I love this time of year when all the rest of the flowers decide it's time to show up :)

this is very beautiful Joe! The flower is a lovely shade of pink - love the composition, lighting and the shadow!

Thanks Joe. I have a friend who's last name is Mandeville. I knew it was also the name of a flower and now I know what it looks like. And now about this beautiful photo, I love how you've captured her bursting forth from the shadows. The vibrancy of the pink and the blush of orange and yellow contrast beautifully with the lush green leaves and the brown barn wood. Do I detect some singed wood in that upper right corner? Great composition. Thanks for sharing.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
