Here in the wet Pacific region of Canada...we get many trees which have a wonderful, soft coat of moss that grows on them. I really like it.

I grew up in the western part of Oregon and I know what you mean about rain and moss. I think this tree is totally beautiful. I think winter is the best time for showing off the true beauty of a tree. This looks like one of those "climbing trees" we cherished as children! Dreaming Tree, maybe. Nice pic, thanks!

The tree and moss are excellent, but I think the background is really distracting. Unfortunately, I can't think of any way you could have eliminated it.

I agree with sailorman about the background, but the tree itself is a real find. It almost looks like it is wearing a coat of green moss. Well spotted!
