This is your pet? Yeah, right. Nice kitty. BUT...boy is that a cool capture of a tiger's face. What a beautiful animal. I like his expression. I'm not sure what it says, but I'm not going to find out either. The colors are all very natural and appear accurate to the point that if I were right there, I would see the same thing. One critique: the top of his nose is in complete sharp focus. The eyes are off focus by a hair. It should be the exact opposite. It is the eyes of a tiger that penatrate to the core and send dhills down your spine. Still, a super shot that I will keep, I assure you.

Oh my, what an expression on the tiger's face & his piercing eyes.... like he is saying do not come any closer. I hope you were using a zoom lens & were not that close. An amazing shot of this beautiful large cat. Excellent work.

Wow Jen, that face is one of pure intent...intent to hunt down and eat whatever is in the way!!! What a great capture of the expression of this beautiful animal. My hubby says cat's don't have expressions, but I strongly disagree. The shadows of light dancing around add such drama to this image. I am glad that you shot many images to get just the "right" look....our patience often times pays off. This time it did. Well done my friend. Stunning photo, Jen. He certainly looks alert and like it would be unwise to be the focus of his attention. It was certainly worth the effort of making a bunch of photos to get one this good.

Very beautiful! I am not seeing anger....and wonder if the stripes near the eyes just make that ferocious interpretation. I see "alert" interest in something......? Maybe he is just watching something...wondering if near feeding time....YOU? :)

I think this is such a great shot of one of my most favorite subjects in the whole wide world. He is definitely focused on something. I sponsor wild animals at a reserve and this is as close up as one could ever expect to get and live to tell. This is a 10 and in my favorites. I would love to see more of these images from you.
