this eagle is confined to a cage like enclosure. he's there because he has a damaged wing. he will probably always be there. the background was blue. it was raggy and quilted so i smoothed it out.

Wow Jen .... this eagle looks so regal & majestic. Just look at those piercing eyes as if it's keeping closeful watch on something. It is too bad about the eagles wing though. An excellent shot Jen & wonderful postwork.

My heart goes out to these birds that were born to fly but can never do so again. At least they have a place that will care for them. Their countenance is indeed regal. Nice capture, jeenie.

Splendid image of that magnificent bird. The background looks like blue sky where he should be soaring free. It is too bad he is confined, but he serves a purpose to educate the rest of us about our wildlife heritage.
