Jen, the detail you've captured in this flower is fascinating. I've never really taken the time to look properly at the passion flower but your close-up is awe-inspiring. Wonderful depth of colour, all the more so because you've made the background complement it so perfectly. Great shot!

This is truly marvelous Jen. The delicacy of the passion flower itself is amazing but you've captured here to perfection. What a lovely post. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I'm glad you shared this one. I love this flower. They only show up briefly and poof they are gone. I took a shot of this type of flower but alas it wasn't good enough to enlarge very far. You had the right equipment to get it in all its splender. Nice work Jen.

Everytime I see a picture of a passion flower, I promise myself that I will someday see one in person, and then I ran into this perfect take, and I'm not so sure I'll need to. Excellent use of the lighting conditions to create shadows that bring her to life. Your clear view of this most unusual flower is overpoweringly realistic with no blur or mar to distort. It's in my faves, and thank you so much for sharing your expertise in capturing the "passion" of this flower :)PJ
