we went hiking in the oak creek area on tuesday and wednesday. i have lots of new stuff. you are viewing cathedral rock from the side with oak creek in the foreground.

Oh my Jen, this is breathtaking. Wish I could have been on that hike with you. The colors and clarity are perfect and the water looks very inviting. I usually see it pretty dry when I'm up there. Excellent post and glad you shared this wonderful view.

This is an amazing picture! Such a beautiful scenery. When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought is was a painting :) Very clear and sharp captured. The left rock is really sharp, but the right one is unsharp and a lot darker, that makes a great contrast on this one. Nice "American Autumn" image, very well done! :)

I used to live near here..actually twice in my life, and I always enjoy seeing it again, as it was the best thing about being there. The scenery can't be beat as far as desert beauty goes...keep posting these, as they are magical seen through your lens and bring back so many fond memories :)PJ

Now that's pretty. I love fall in the West. I love the water as it slips down over the various rocks in the stream. The trees have just the right amount of fall color. Beautiful and a keeper.
