Marvelous view, the details are stunning and the colors gorgeous. I love the old architecture, and the only remark is if we could see more from the red roof, but it's a minor detail. Thanks Jen.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

What a clever way to deal with the fact that the water level in the river does rise once in a while, I suppose? It's so much more practical than trying to maintain houses, shops, et cetera along a flowing body of water like this. The "bridge house" was a stroke of genius. The shot is quaint and old-fashioned :)
This could have been a great shot, but you chopped the whole top off the thing. In future you'll have a better composition if you catch a little bit of sky in a shot like this.
