this was taken in a small german town along the rhine river. although it might look like windows and a door, they're just windows. they aren't quite the second story but they are considerably above ground level. the arrangement and especially the door like window were what attracted me. i could have cloned out the paint and the spots, but thought they were part of the charm. thanks to all who view and/or comment. enjoy!

A friend of mine works in a camera store. The other day a very confused looking woman approached the counter and handed my friend a camera. She said "I took pictures, but I forgot to have film in the camera. Can you please get them out of the camera for me?"

Wonderful facade and excellent photo, Jen. I think I might have cloned out the remnants of the white graffiti, but still a great image!

I agree that i`ts very arty, kinda surreal with what looks like door very high up. Nicely compsed. I`m glad we can`t see the whole thing as it adds to the surreal feel , you got a good eye my girl!

You're right the paint gives it the west side charm. I like it very much.

Nifty shot. You have a good eye for the unusual and interesting architectural shots. I think I would have cloned out the graffiti on the wall, but that's just me.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

This is a beautifully composed and faithfully exposed photograph. It's soft tones and plesant structure is really pleasing to the eye. Superb work. The C-index value is a betrayal to your good work.
