It was just another day at the beach until these 2 big seals plopped themselves right in front of us. As usual, when this happens, a rope perimeter is placed around them. This keeps the public from "bothering" them. Sometimes they stay for a few hours and other times could be longer or shorter. They're not sick, but instead just taking a little nap. They are an endangered species. Thanks for any looks or comments. ENJOY!

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Mrs b took one look at them and then at me and said," Relatives of yours?" It's a good job we've been married for over 37 years. This is a lovely and fascinating picture.

I would love to take a nap on the beach, but in the shade instead. Wonderful capture of this pair napping.

A couple of lazy blokes, WC. Reminds me of Owd Timer and Count B.
Looks good.

They look very happy - glad they they get protected although I would not venture too close anyway - they can get aggressive. And who can blame them !
Love that blue rippling sea as well

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
