I feel fortunate to live in an area which has historic significance and was home to Alice Paul. I'm posting a picture of her house that I took in May of 2014. A group known as the Women on 20s has launched a campaign to place a woman on the $20 bill. Alice Paul is currently 1 of 15 candidates who could replace Andrew Jackson. Here is some additional information with regard to Alice Paul's house. Paulsdale, also known as the Alice Paul Institute, is the birthplace of equal rights advocate Alice Stokes Paul (1885-1977). The 200-year-old house currently resides on 6.5 acres in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Paulsdale serves as a center for celebrating women's history and leadership. The Alice Paul Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about the life and work of Alice Paul suffragist, author of the Equal Rights Amendment, founder of the National Woman's Party, and a lifelong activist for women's equality. Paulsdale was added to National Register of Historic Places on July 05, 1989 and designated National Historic landmark on December 4, 1991.
