It was most interesting to find these bikes that were once used as a form of transport and have been creatively converted into a new form of art and functionality. I like to think of these bikes as "Wheels Reinvented". These old conveyances have a new purpose as they stand proudly displaying these beautiful geraniums for all to see. By the way, the month of May is National Bike Month and this week, May 16 - 20, has been designated Bike To Work Week!!!!!

Unfortunately, I haven't been on a bike for eons, yet I see many elderly women here in Italy use them daily as transport to do their daily food shopping. I like the restoration and original idea in your photo. Good luck in the contest, Laura.

Funny I brought a Geranium Mrs Pollock last week.
