Today the weather was the perfect spring day to get out and take some shots - This hydrangea bush/tree is in bloom on the grounds of the monastery - Also blooming are the dogwood trees of which I will post some shots in the coming days - Enjoy!!!

I'm a little surprised, Laura. I've always been told that a hydrangea likes a fairly moist root ball to grow and bloom optimally.
If I see it correctly, this hydrangea bush doesn't meet those conditions. It's therefore extremely curious that it hasn't only grown so large, but also blooms profusely. Apparently, the saying that the exception proves the rule also applies in nature.
Anyway, a wonderful shot!
