We backpacked up Siphon Draw to the top of the Flat Iron in the Superstition Mountains just outside of Phoenix. During sunset I walked my way over to the East to capture the sun setting behind the Flat Iron. I think the people at the top give a great sense of scale.

92 percent American teens would die if Abecrombie and Fitch told them it uncool to breathe. Would you be in the 8 percent laughing their asses off at the others?

Extraordinary! I agree the people definitely give it a sense of scale and the colors are amazing. I just saw it in the VB and had to take a look. I gave it high marks. :)

A wonderful picture, nice contrast between the foreground rocks and the misty background but with complementary colours. Very good.

Wow, really nice. I like that you have the people up on the ledge to give us some perspectives and you've captured this at about the most perfect time of day. I haven't been up there yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to doing some hiking in the superstitions before it gets to hot. :)

You're exactly right about those people at the top of the cliff...it gives it the sense of enormity it deserves! Very nicely done!!
