a very interesting image

love the clarity of the texture of the metal of tip of the biro and the paper where it's in focus

good strong diagonal lines and an excellent use of the biro to point where we are supposed to look

might need brightening up a bit ... but nothing serious
that said the slightly darker tones add a bit to minute feeling of mystery or the idea that theres been some burning of midnight oils here
good soft quality to the lighting with no harsh shadows

Simplicity in its most perfect form! You can just about "feel" the paper and it's warmth. A+

That is some crazy macro! This image is really good, but it could be a lot better if it had more define lighting. I am not saying go out and buy 4 top of the line flashes, but seeing as that pen and paper won't be going anywhere, next time grab a lamp or two and see what you can do. :-)
