This picture is of one of my most beloved ornaments. It was given to me by my mother in 1987, and I've put it on the tree ever since.

Wonderful crystal heart and wonderful memories every time you put it on the tree. Really lovely image.

The subject is really sharp and without the highlights being blown, all good and not to be taken for granted in photographing a sparkly object in dark surroundings. The twist of green wire immediately occluding the bottom bit of the heart is a definite detraction from the overall image. Having the important date visible is clever in the context of the history of this object for you.
