The immense amount of spray kicked up by Gullfoss, the two-tiered monster waterfall in SW Iceland. Had to keep cleaning off the lens, covering and waiting for the wind to shift for a second to take the photo. f22 to maximise exposure, 2 seconds for the shot, allowing a nice build up of spray for drama and some smooth water...Now just try and imagine the noise this thing kicks off!

I really like this, the vantage point is great and maybe just a little scary. Glad you didn't fall in.

i just love this so much!! i love the softness of the water and the mist...and how the mist is just like a wall. and how the river continues on in the back of the shot...lead the eye back there too. love the deep greens and the darker lighting....beautiful capture!!!! ~abby

this is just a great shot. is the secret to your success a tripod and a long exposure? ( that is in addition to a beautiful scene)
