This cottage is high up on a hill with a stunning view from the back of the house. The front of the house faces towards the country lane and the top of the hill covered in fern. I would have built the house the other way round myself. Thanks for looking :)

I have the feeling that these people probably enjoy the front and back views just fine, depending on their mood. I certainly like the view you've given us here and the house itself is somewhat of a vision too! :)

Lovely textures in the bricks and the stone wall and they contrast nicely with the green of the countryside. The lilac adds a nice touch as well. She looks a fine old house, whichever way you look at her :)
