A ncie quiet country road at the top of Sychnant Pass in Conwy. The mountain side is covered thickly with ferns for as far as the eye can see along this road. You have to be careful wandering around there coz the sheep roam free up there. They like to hide among the ferns waiting for some car to come along, then they decide to amble across the road as slow as you like :)))

So many different greens, browns and purples. A really great shot that makes you feel quite small and alone.

I'm getting car sick with all these curves. Try as I might, I can't keep from laughing when I picture a sheep jumping out from behind the ferns, with it's hooves in the air saying "Boo!" I like all the colors and curves in this one. You really captured one here Jo. Now back to those wooly sheep.

I used to be terrified of the sheep up the oOrme as a child - specially the ones with horns! so I would be spcially cautious here, even in this beautiful setting - lovely greens and lush ferns - and also a beautiful blue sky - nice work Jo!

ps probably my dear cousins telling me they were 'killer sheep' did not help!

And they do take forever to get across the road..worse than cows!!

Lovely scene from Conwy and I'll get used to spelling it that way sooner or later :)
