Sorry this is so dark, it was a miserable day. This is a view from Beaumaris looking over towards Llanfairfechan. The staggered cross on the hillside opposite is planted in evergreen trees. Its a good job that I looked for a link to the story behind the crosses for her as well, as I was told a lie lol. Everytime we passed them when I was a child ( they are close by me) I would beg my Grandad to tell me the story of the prisoners of war who had planted them... for something for them to do you see lol. Any how,, looking for a link to post here for you, I discover that it was all wrong, and there is a totally more boring reason why it was planted..... The Truth I think I prefer my Grandads tale really.

I like it Jo. The mist gives it a touch of mystery and from your narrative there seems to be some. I'm like you, I would prefer your Grandfather's Tale. I'm hoping my Grandson has those decisions to make someday. I agree that folks give it perspective. I also like the posts versus stonewall. Happy New Year.
