Today was cold, wet and windy so I spent a few hours inside Plas Mawr in Conwy today. This house was built between 1576 and 1585. Its a wonderful experience inside as they have a lot of the original furniture, and they have restored a lot of the decor. We are going to start off in the hall that you come into from the main entrance. As you step into the hall you have to actually step over and through the door in the wall. The hall entrance is the door to the right. The roped area is where you first enter the house. If you look along the line where the wall panels meet the flooring, you will see how the floor is very uneven. NOW I know that there is an orb there, and I did think about trying to edit it out, but there is a reason why I decided not to. Plas Mawr has a Ghost a very well known one. Somewhere in the chimney systems there is ( its believed) the bones of a poor young doctor. So if as some believe.. orbs are ghosts caught on film, I left it in the shot.

Excellent post Jo. Let's name it Roy Orb ison. It could be his ghost. Who's to say whether it is or it isn't. Very nice view of interior and I'm looking forward to next photo. Have a good day.

:) Oh how lovely - thank you Jo!
Now I get to see what I missed. Perhaps one day I shall come back and go inside :)
I love the atmosphere in this one - your narrative really brings it to life. The ghost - most definitely can see it :)
They sure built things to last in those days eh?

I'm looking forward to this,MFJ. My only question is, "Do we have to tip the guide at the end of the tour?"
