Great photo. I like their display. That deer looks so small but I'm sure it's because of the foreground and it's in the back. Once again the simplicity of the scene fascinates me. Another good one our deer tour guide. I mean dear. lol

Don't we have it easy these days - meat already prepared and packed on the supermarket shelves.
I would be a vegetarian if I had to deal with these whole animals.

This looks like an old painting Jo - excellent work.

Lyn is right Jo, it does look like an oil painting. I must admit my first thought was ,"Look at all that wonderful food! Just think of all the fantastic dishes I could could cook with the rabbits and deer."
I have a French cookery book called '101 Ways with Rabbit', only in French, with all those I could be half way through the book.
A truly great picture MFJ, that really tells a story.

After reading Bobs comment I decided that's a small deer amongst bloody big rabbits. :o) Having been a silent visitor on this tour I'm still a little disappointed we weren't invited to stay for lunch after viewing the kitchen. :o(
Perhaps you could have a word with the head cook for me ? tee hee.
Nice work Jo let the tour continue
