Part of a large sculpture of Jesus on the cross in Conwy, this a lady kneeling at the base of the cross. I have always loved her expression so thought I would share her.

I think Jesus gave her the calmness she needed during that time. He let her know he was preparing a better place. I think she sees it. Good post Jo.

Nice detail Jo, I think Mick's right that the close-up is very effective. Strange with photos of statues, they can look even more human than the real thing.
