I took this shot this week when I was out with a friend that I have not seen since we were 14 years old, ( 26 years later shh) and we went around all our old haunts and had a fantastic laugh and lots of memories shared. She lives in Singapore now but still loves her native Conwy Valley.

This bridge is in Betws Y Coed, it goes nowhere, just literally across the river to the sheep field. We had fun here though, this bridge wobbles a lot when people walk over it, and bounces a great deal. So Gillian and I stood right in the middle and laughed so much at the wobbling when children were jumping on it to make it wobble lol. YOu can just make out the last person we met crossing the bridge " framed" at the end.

Please tell me that you are entering your image here in the "Framing" contest currently running.

... ...

But, don't let me persuade you. Your decision, of course. As I wouldn't wish to exert any unduly influence.

... ...

What's 'unduly' mean? :o\

Very nice shot. :o)

And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us.

I agree that it should be entered in the contest Jo. It is a great shot and follows the rules of the contest. I laugh when I think about you swinging to and fro on the bridge. I didn't realize there were his and hers bridges. I thought they all were Coed.

Grat perspective Jo - it is a good shot all round and made better by knowing under what happy circumstances you took it.
Old "Betsy Co-ed" is on my list of things I must see again.

Hi Jo
It funny how fast time goes by! I was 14 years old at about the same time your were and it does not seem like 26 years ago!!!! Oh man I'm getting old LOL I love this old bridge! Your memories attached to it make it stand out a little more!

What good memories Jo. The perspective is spot on and I love the colour and the sky.
