Another from the Denbigh Asylum. I think that this could have been some form of reception in the past. I have to say that the glass in the stairs didnt really seem to be in keeping with the rest of the building at all. We didnt go up the stairs though, not this time.

Such a stark contrast. Was this to make the public entering feel good about the place? Not many of the residents would see this view I would guess. Great capture, Jo.

Have to agree with Jarrod, it's a very depressing scene to see what it was like being on the inside. I think the glass in the stairs is really out of place indeed. Super image Jo

Red is a color of power BC. I suspect the man/woman in charge had an office up stairs. Lots of unremembered memories in this one.

It is another nice photo of the inside of the building,Jo,i agree,the glass in the stairs is out of place.

I bet the very insane were kept upstairs. I sorta wished you had gone upstairs, Jo, and see if you could have found Tick and Jimbob there!! lol.
