I took this when on a walk on a nice sunny day. Aiming into the sun I got this almost moonlight effect. Which when I looked at it when I uploaded it from the camera made me instantly think of Doris Day ( one of my heroines) singing Silvery Moon and Moonlight Bay

I am a Doris Day fan myself BC. I think she covered everything, including this scene when she sang this song.
Hard not to think of Japan when I see foamy water. Good post.

Really love the action of the water and the foam in the breaking waves upon the shore. Gorgeous moonlight capture and does make me think of the waves that hit Japan also, but much smaller

I think I see improvement on your B/W photos evry time you take one Jo, this one is very impressive. I really like the depth and layers here.

What I like is that this looks like a B&W but with that hint of blue on the right - very interesting shot well excecuted.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Great looking romantic shot here MFJ. The sun's reflection is just perfect on the gently rippling sea.
