Taken as the sun was setting; so the light isn't great. But the layers of ranges and the clouds look decent enough to share.

I do not have as good an eye for the things that Les refers to, and he knows his stuff. I like both shots equally. The sky is beautiful, and I love the mountains fading into the distance. Well done, JP.

Good points Les. Did not think about the crop; but on levels, I was trying not to make the foreground hill too dark. But your adjusmtents do make a difference. Thank you!

The sense of distance is great and I'm a sucker for the whole shadows of distant mountains groove so this is sweet in my book. I had a similar first response to Les and will do something similar with the image on my own account, once you start playing with curves it gets kinda addictive. :))

Crop some off of the bottom, perhaps? Not entirely certain on this note ...
Strike that, and change to a slight crop off of the top.
And to save your eyes some wear and tear, here is the picture worth my next thousand words ...
... crop and some minor Curves and Levels adjustments.
Hope you don't mind me having downloaded your photo and editing it some, to illustrate my words.
