this is from the bridge over the river Czarna (Black River) that separates Tama village in Poland from the rest of the world. Lovely early afternoon light with heavyish clouds zooming past on a very active sky. Tama is such a remote village and this is the only bridge there, we used to play on those sands and the waters below as kids 3 and nearly 4 dacades ago!! :) hope you like it, it really takes me back. Oh I forgot to mention that it's the river that pours out of Maleniec pond over the millwheel at the _factory_ (It's a historical site I'm hoping to show you that factory)

Lovely serene scene Jeremi. The color and contrast are great, nice detail, the reflection is lovely and that sky is wonderful. Thanks for sharing this one. anne :-)

Jeremi, Beautiful photo. So many wonderful greens, nice reflections, blue sky, and great narritive. This is a relaxing scene and rekindles memories of the sand banks I played on 4 decades ago.

Hi Jeremi - there is a software to your photograph - I like it a lot - thanks for the narrative explaining where exactly this is - it really adds to the way you look at a photograph when the narrative is good! Patti

Thumbs up on this one Jeremi, I could visualize myself living near here.
Must not have been a speck of wind this day, not a ripple in the water (almost mirror like).
The sand looks sooo soft, I can almost feel it. Very, very nice post. Thanx

This is a beautiful place Jeremi...I can understand your pleasant memories of being here as child. You have captures this in early afternoon which brings out the colors perfectly and the water is calm to provide nice reflections...good work...gerry..

I am having difficulty downloading an image on your site to my desktop as wallpaper. Previously the submenu allowed me to do this, but the submenu has reduced in options and no longer allows this?
