A shot of a main church arch entrance under very overcast misty conditions in Kaźimerz nad Wisłą in Poland. A historic town little more than a large village which has many of its centuries old aspects well preserved. More of Kaźimierz will come later. Hope you like this attempt at a simple calm quiet desktop. The idea here was to take the viewer on gradual steps first into the depths the arch tarry there a moment and then the courtyard beyond and the tree. The corner element top right is deliberate, I think it forces the eye to initially stay outside the arch. Then finding the arch, enter it. Thus extending the time and distance of the visual journey.

Hey Jeremi,

Just to let you know that the image has an arty feel about it. I like your composition for this image. The top right hand corner and the patches of green grass help to balance out the framed entrance and the tree subtlely. Nice work.

Great composition and the clarity is excellent. This has nice depth and certinly invites one of 'come on in'. Very well done.

Yes Jeremi, the focus is definitely on what lies beyond. It does in fact draw the viewer in. Simplistic in nature but with nice architectural design. :)

The exposure and angle are good. Your position creates interest for the eye and draws one into the image. anne :-)

Simple but elegantly done. You are a master of the "less is more" technique. Kudos, Jeremi!
