Katie - A difficult task in close up photos is finding the right focal point because the depth of field is quite shallow. In this shot, you have gotten the foreground web strands in good focus. However, the spider and its 'catch of the day' is blurry, and I think they are what you wanted to have sharply seen, as they are the subject of the photo. The diagonal of the spider and lunch makes a very good composition. Thad

I'm not sure whether to feel glad for the hungry spider or feel sorry for the hapless butterfly, but it's a photo that grabs attention for sure. I'd ditto the above focus comments.
