I had this up for candidate in my selection for "Breaking the Rules" contest... It didn't break enough rules. ^_^ You are welcome to prove me wrong. ;)
This is very very beautiful. and so well focussed. It is upside down? The crystals on the top part are longer than those on the bottom. No matter.. I love it!
Hi Klas
this is wonderful...I have some shots like these but they are all white of the icecrystals.
In this shot the color contrast between cristals and leaves is beautiful.
And the angle well chosen... and patterns..well they allways an feast for the eye.
This is another image in your amazing series !!! I admire the focus and colours and lighting most of all. It makes a perfect desktop so I will have it on my HD together with your other ice crystals ...
Thanks Paul and Marzena! :) I'm glad I could satisfy your taste in these images. When I had it up for consideration I realized it had too many good elements to be in the new contest... ^_^
Well Klas, it certainly doesn't break your usual rule (eg must be stunningly beautiful). I'm rather glad you withdrew this as it would have screwed the chances for the rest of us ;-)
Hey! 'What Cheer' Klas. Brilliant photo, can I ask, were you 'well wrapped up' in warm clothing when you took this!!!.........You think the ice has had a terrific 'fright' to stand up like this!
Thanks for sharing it.
.......*It is always in season for old men to learn!*.....
Thats really cool. I like the way the light not only shines through the frost but also through the leaves. Great work. If i were asked in any ways to improve this shot, maybe i would include some background , like of trees or something a ways away. but thats just if i was asked.
Thank you so much guys! It wasn't *that* cold. Just an hour later the frost was mostly gone around where I shot this image. I was properly wrapped up though. ^_^
I see your point about including some "other" background. I was so far down with my nose in the grass though (or how you put it) so there was no chance of having much else then grass as background. It's a good point though. Unfortunately there was no such things to include in the shot there, but if I ever get a chance to make a similar shot on a different spot with such settings, I'll certainly keep it in mind. ;)
Hehe... Thanks! The only big rule this image breaks is the conflicting lines of interest, but in a way that's what makes it look interesting for me at least.
Ojojoj..här har man definitivt missat en pärla - struntar i vilka regler som brytits - det här är ett kanon-macro med rättvist index ! Nia eller tia...?
