Hahaha...it seems as though he's too full and can't take off so he's just gonna snooze for a while!! Seems a little white or bright if you will, but, that may be the scotch talkin'.

I like this bug's relaxed pose. He just looks like he is flopped over the top of this bloom. Very unusal. Nice capture.

i apologize for my delay in replying to all of your wonderful comments...senior year in hs has me incredibly busy and almost frantic...
Just a stunning macro Kristof and certainly does brighten up these dull winter days! I just love these Bee Beetles; they are very rare in the UK and I've only seen them on the continent. The sharpness of focus is so sharp it hurts;o)
