My work was a base image/apophysis...and we all know I suck at apophysis....hahaha!

Terri was the motor that got this image rolling. In fact I put it together last night not realizing I could collaborate it for the contest. Terri magically came up with the idea and it's a hand in glove. Thanx to you Terri. You may think you suck at apophysis, but you sure can make a blood smeared boogy man look very terrifying. I have always looked under my bed since childhood, as we all know the 'boogie man' could be there..uggg! This is a menacing boogie man and I'll be sure and leave the beef jerky at the end of my bed-thanks for the tip! All the detail is terrific in the picture. I saw this image in a totally different light until I read your synopsis. I saw a young soldier, forced to grow up quickly, weary and broken - not threatening at all. He is plagued by his own nightmares of cruelty, bloodshed and death, death, death. Whatever the meaning, the art is just excellent. I gave this image a 10. Blessings, anne

Again, I'm amazed at the creativity shown here. Not only have you and Madmaven managed to capture fear, you've broken it down into several separate components that pique the mind into putting the whole back together in different ways thus creating new 'stories' as to the history and intentions of this dark fellow ... or should I say, slightly different nightmares, one for every day of the week. This guy's a repeat offender, no doubt. Great work gals and I hope it does well in the contest.

Just a few words here. WOW, AMAZING, Moving, and captivating. I could go on but you would have already heard them. This is a great piece of work. The Talent just goes on and on and I only hope I can be half as good.
