We here at Caedes have made friends with many different people, from many different places and all walks of life. I first met Bernd, Berniespeed, when he PMed me a very funny comment on one of my images & we've since become very good friends. Bernd is always there with a laugh, or a steadying hand on my shoulder should I need it. He has a great artistic eye & is always there to help me with an image, should I ask. We've had many long talks, & between these & all those GOOFY jokes ! Well, I'm proud to call Bernd one of my dearest friends. And since today is HIS BIRTHDAY, I'd thought I'd post a little something for him to catch On The Flip Side. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BERND ! Hope it's a great one hon !!!

thank you sooooooooooo much for this wonderful birthday present and for your nice words above. My birthday has been great so far and I am really grateful for all those nice birthday wishes I have received over the day. There were a lot of phone calls but also quite a few emails from all over the world. Thanks to everyone.... I really appreciate it more than I can say. But YOUR picture, Lauren, is just the icing on the cake - you really made my day with this wonderful work. Hi Lauren, what a beautiful image, with marvelous color and design this is! I love the glorious hues of purple! As I have said so many times Lauren, your fractals are simply outstanding and when seen, are not readily forgotten!! Also, what a lovely story of friendship you share with Bernie, that is very nice, and this tribute to him speaks well of this!
