Apophysis 2.08b & hi ! Log time no post, I know. :o) Thought I'd drop by & drop a couple off, just for the heck of it. Let you all know I hadn't dropped off the face of the planet.

Anyhow, the title refers to how the design reminds me of the pretty toile fabric designs you see used as chair cushions or wallpaper or blouses etc.

Thanks for looking and ...

Nice work, Lauren. :o)

There is another in your dA galleries, amongst many other noteworthy gnarls created by you ... that I really, really ... love.

That of;

"Metal Sculpture"

No slight intended to that of your flame here. Not at all.

Your choice of colour gradient works extremely well on this one to highlight the most apt portions. And then, and in turn ... blend seamlessly into the white background.

Nice work, indeed. :o)

Thanks for sharing this one with us ... ahem ... 'stranger'.

Well, well, Lauren! It is SOOO good to see a creation of yours!
This is an amazing piece of art!! I love the lines, the total silver look. I would almost wish to venture out and do a pen and ink of this, but am not so sure I can do it. But oh what a challenge! I like the slight blooish tint in the center of this, and the way each line kind of "ends" around the edges. Going into 'nowhere' Very very elegant! Come around more often Lauren. I sure miss your postings.Verena
