For some reason the name of the town in which this was taken escapes me. It was taken in CT, New Haven County. My father was taking my sisters and I to some places he hung out as a kid..he called this place High Rock. Not sure if it's an official name or not, I didn't ask.

I should have gone over the guardrail to get a better shot of the tracks, but I still liked the way this came out. At least the sky is blue in this one.

Yeah I think this would have been a great photo if you had taken it on the other side of the guard rail and maybe all the way to the end of the guard rail so you wouldn't have to worry at all about the road. This just means that you have to go back to get the pic and the name of the town haha

The rail and the guard rail leading the eye into the image are good. The balance of earth and sky is about along "thirds" lines. Contrast is a bit light for my taste but probably accurate to the bright sunlight on the day.

It is not "The powerful attack the weak." it is "The fearful attack what they fear."

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Overall, this is a well composed image. The eye is drawn to the hill, which is great, though I kind of wish the hill were in focus instead of the rail road and foreground. Just my two cents, though! Aside from that one point, well done.

A nice perspective and composition in your capture. Perhaps as noted the light is a little bright. Good work and thanks for sharing.
