Big Ben and Westminster Abbey taken from the London Eye. I took a whole lotta shots of this while I was up there but I think this one was my best of the bunch :) The trick to avoiding the glare is to get right against the glass (although I didn't avoid it in many shots)

See I was looking for Big Ben while I was up St Pauls cathedral today. I found the London Eye, Westminster, I guess it must have been hiding from me =]

I wish I was a glow worm, a glow worm's never glum. How can you be gloomy when the sun shines out your bum? *runs off into distance giggling*

Very busy shot with loads to see. A great view and you got my respect for going on the eye. You would never get me up there!

Top shot Lisa, the composition rocks with the tower and the wee chapel giving the centre purpose among the welter of buildings and the line of the road quietly implying thirds to the subconscious. Clever title too.

You did great avoiding the glare Lisa and I like Mikel's analysis of the composition too. I also think the diagonal formed by the Houses of Parliament and the Abbey give the shot some punch. Nicely done!

Looks like a little toytown down there doesn't it Lisa! Well done at capturing so many straight lines - not a bent building in sight! :)

I did not get to that area of London. So that's big Ben? Stately he is.
