Really enjoy the colourations you achieved in your image here. Works well to my eyes.
Suggestion, thought ... if I can be bold here ...
How's about lightening, or bringing the one boy's features that is sitting, out some more?
In my humble opinion, the tree and the other boy that is standing, as presented as almost silhouettes ... are nicely balanced and offset from one another to set up the central portion where the sitting boy is located within frame.
Seems like the story that your image tells here, is about that one boy more so ... off in his own world of thoughts and the water at his feet, with the other elements of the bay and boats behind him.
Then again ... perhaps, I am not getting the message here? By your having kept the identities of the boy's face concealed (more or less) in the shadows?
That said, your photo here does indeed have that lil' 'something something' extra. (Can't quite put my creative finger on what it is, though.)
It is a captivating capture. And one that I do enjoy.
Thank you for sharing this one with us. And nice work. :o)
I think this is fantastic, love the reflections and I wonder what the boy has in the water. Looks like some kind of creature with lots of legs. The blue tones really make the picture. There's a lot going on in the photo and I like it.
I love this for many reasons. One is how you captured a story. This is an image with a lot to tell and questions to ask. Interesting! I also love the lighting and colors. Excellent work!
This is a remarkable photo for so many reasons. The subject speaks volumes about the region and the color tones you have chosen are astoundingly beautiful. Excellent, excellent shot!
I join the others in saying... Fantastic capture and post-processing! Really enjoying the colour tones, lighting and reflections here! Excellent composition! Faved+
