Cromwell, Connecticut, USA. These hardy foofies continue to come up each year in spite of the pachysandra. These are miniature (or dwarf) irises. A bulb, they flower early each Spring. Enjoy!

As yet, I can't put a name to these beauties, Thad! There are certainly none in my garden, unfortunately. I'll have another scour through my gardening books, see if can find them -they shouldn't be hard to miss.
What I do know is they're a great addition to the series - I presume 4 constitutes a series ;~}

Another blast of color for spring Thad. It is just now starting to get green around here. I am excited. Thanks for keeping me enthused with your spring series.

A lovely capture of these beautiful flowers. I have no idea what they are but wouldn't mind having some. A nice composition and colours in your shot.

Really lovely - see them around here as well but not until April. They may be a creeping myrtle.

So beautiful! I am really jealous, nothing blooming here yet, well except for some pretty little pansies.
