Mount Desert Island, Maine, USA. From the summer bin, a breath of warm air from the ocean breezes while walking to the docks for a harbor cruise (not on one of these fancy boats). Enjoy!
I just get totally amazed that not everyone looks at a photo full screen Thad. 6 to 1 when I commented and the one was obviously BTK. It is a very good scene with much to enjoy.
Nice work here, Thad. The whole image looks 3 dimensional and there are lots of nice shades of blue here. The trees on the distant hills look really sharp as well.
So instead you and the Mrs. threw a couple of inner tubes in the harbour and enjoyed a cruise.:) A grand capture Thad and beautiful presentation. Love the colours and composition of the photo. Wonderful details and a beautiful sky. Great job.
Wow! Thad what a absolutely perfect day this shot was taken of Northeast Harbor. Lucky you to visit during a terrific week, since I know it can be rainy and foggy. What a gorgeous photo Thad you really out did yourself! A+++
The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Beautiful, Thad! I like the composition of this shot, which includes so many interesting and well-placed elements, from the cut stones in the foreground to the wispy cirrus clouds. I also like the striking shades of blue in the sky and water. Excellent work!
