Mount Desert Island, Maine, USA. The climb to the top of Flying Mountain led to beautiful views of the ocean to the south and Somes Sound, seen here, to the north. This fjord ends at Somesville, known for its Selectman's Building and Bridge, a photo of it I have posted before. Enjoy the view!

Such a classy photo Thad. It has a 3D look. What a view you had from the mountain. This is really good.

A spectacular view in your photo Thad. Nice clarity and focus work in your shot. Love the colours of the trees and water and the sky in the background. Great work and thanks for sharing.

I love this cloudy sky. Great angle of shot. Very nice natural framing of trees and very good DOF.

A wonderful place to see the encompassing beauty of the entire area. It's good that you were able to find a view through those tall pines.

A very beautiful view Thad. Those trees in front look so fresh and green and the view between them is lovely.

Wow! A terrific view through the trees and a well-composed photo, Thad! I love that summer sky, and the air is so clear. The wide expanse of blue water and the surrounding evergreen forest make a wonderful landscape. A great postcard from Maine!
