Everglades National Park, Florida, USA. The American White Pelican live in colonies in brackish water areas such as the Everglades. Large birds, adults have a wingspan of over 100 inches, second only to the California Condor.

Thad, I did an attempt to count them, but after a second recount I realized that I could better use my time to enjoy this wonderful image instead of wasting my time by counting them.

I didn't know about the wingspan comparison to the Condor. Interesting!
