When I was about 12 years old, my family visited Everglades National Park. It was fascinating back then and probably hasn't changed much. Fine shot of the alligator. As always there is little to critique in your photos, Thad. No complaints about the colors being oversaturated, composition is good, no noise or over-sharpening.

This picture is close enough for me to the 'gator although I doo recall seeing them in Florida on Sanibel Island.
